One of our very own attorneys, Susan Elliott, has been selected as a 2014 Fellow for the American Bar Association’s Real Property, class of Trust and Estates Division. Out of over 50 candidates that applied, only 8 were selected. Susan is one of the 8 that has been selected, due to all of her hard work and dedication.
The ABA Section of Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Fellows Program motivates involvement and participation of young lawyers in Section activities. The objective of the program is to give young lawyers an opportunity to become involved in the work of the RPTE Section, while developing into future leaders.
The responsibilities of the Fellows will include working with a Committee Chair to expose them to all aspects of committee membership, getting involved in a substantive project, writing for a RPTE publication, becoming a Section liaison to the ABA Young Lawyers Division or a local bar association, becoming an active member of the Membership Committee, and attending important Section leadership meetings.
The Fellowship position lasts for a duration of two years in order to develop and grow expertise and leadership skills. Susan has demonstrated dedication and commitment to our firm and will be a great addition to this years Fellow Program!
